Our amazing Petra Day tour from Aqaba starts easily by picking you up from your hotel in Aqaba city and we begin our journey into the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and experience Deserted Highway itinerary.
Petra is a historical and archaeological city in the southern Jordanian governorate of Ma'an that is famous for its rock-cut architecture and water conduit system.
This legendary’ Rose City’ is due to the color of the stone out of which it is carved into the walls of a desert canyon over 2500 years ago. Once we reach Petra, we'll walk through the narrow Siq, see the Obelisk Tomb, Calligraphy, Treasury, and the Theater.
The whole tour is fully guided and you'll get to learn all about the site and the region.

Once we are out of the site, we get some free time to walk around and enjoy the atmosphere.
Then, enjoy an authentic Arabic-style lunch in a local restaurant.
Lastly, We begin our return trip towards the south of Aqaba and drive through the unique desert landscape of Wadi Rum.
The moonlike landscape of Wadi Rum is unique in the world. The desert of Rum is dotted with massive mountains, colored in shades of red, yellow, and orange. Their hues spill over to color the sand dunes around the desert and the horizon of its breathtaking panorama.

We head north towards Petra. Transport takes approximately 2-3 hours, passing through a vast and comfortable deserted highway and through a scenic route on the mountainside. - 11:30

Arrive at Petra. UNESCO historical site, known as the Seven Wonders Of The World. - 11:30

Our experienced tour guide will lead you through Petra. Along the way, you’ll visit the Siq, Obelisk Tomb, Calligraphy, Treasury, Jabal Madbach (the sacrificial palace), Tombs, Theater, Mountaintop Tombs. - 15:30

Once out of the site we'll have a Jordanian style Lunch at a local authentic restaurant

We begin our trip and head south towards Aqaba. This route includes a few stops along the way at certain observation points in order to give you the opportunity to enjoy the deserted scenery of Wadi Rum. - 18:30
