Petra Day Tour From Eilat
We begin our Petra tour from Eilat with pickup from your hotel in Eilat.Then, swiftly taken across the Itzhak Rabin border (Araba) into Jordan and head towards Petra by driving through the Deserted Highway
Petra, a historical and archaeological city in the southern Jordanian governorate of Ma'an. It is known for its rock-cut architecture and facsinating water conduit system.
It is called the Rose City due to the color of the stone out of which it is carved into the canyon walls mre than 2500 years ago.
Once we reach Petra, we enter the site and start walking through the Siq and get to see the Obelisk Tomb, Calligraphy, Treasury and the Theater.
* Horseback riding is optional in our package.
Then, once we're out of the site, we'll enjoy an authentic Arabic style lunch in a local restaurant. (Included)
After lunch, we begin our return trip and drive through the beautiful desert landscape of Wadi Rum - a unique moonlike landscape.
It is dotted with massive mountains, colored in shades of red, yellow, and orange.
Their hues spill over the sand dunes around and the horizon of its breathtaking panorama.
Just before returning to Israel, if time permits, we'll go for a short panoramic tour of Aqaba,
and then return to Israeli territory and back to our primary destination in Eilat.

Our tour to Petra from Eilat starts with a pick up OUTSIDE your accommodation and transfer to Araba Border. Crossing with the help of our crew

Start heading north towards Petra in our newest model air-conditioned vehicles, passing through a scenic route on the mountain side, and arriving at Petra's UNESCO historical site - known as the Seven Wonders Of The World.
Transport takes approximately 2-3 hours - 11:30

We begin our trip back towards Aqaba. This route includes a few stops along the way at certain observation points in order to give you the opportunity to enjoy the deserted scenery of Wadi Rum.
