Departing from Tel Aviv and transferring to Eilat, you’ll cross into Jordan, and head to Petra. The ‘forgotten city of Petra’ is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. You’ll be blown away and transferred into a different world as you tour the amazing city of Petra.
The Petra Archaeological Park (PAP) covers an area within Wadi Musa, which is considered a tourism and archaeological site, and a World Heritage Site registered on the UNESCO World Heritage list since 1985. The area encompasses a breathtaking landscape of pink-hued rock mountains, the focus of which is the amazing ancient Nabataean city of Petra, which was carved into the rock more than 2,000 years ago. A place that time has forgotten and the feats of mankind have been proven by.
Lunch will be in a traditional Arabic restaurant serve, authentic Jordanian delicious local cuisine.
On second day, you’ll move on Wadi Rum. The moonlike landscape of Wadi Rum is unique in the world. The desert of Rum is dotted with massive mountains, colored in shades of red, yellow, and orange. Their hues spill over to color the sand dunes around the desert and the horizon of its breathtaking panorama.
After a quick breakfast, you will explore Wadi Rum via a jeep tour. From there Head back south, you’ll visit Aqaba’s markets, and then free time to relax in Eilat over the border to Eilat.
